 Award Recognition and Selection Process​​
       The "Top 10 Postgraduate" award is the highest honor for graduates at SUSTech. The rigorous selection process involved multiple evaluation stages, starting with 431 outstanding candidates from across the university. After college-level recommendations, 21 finalists were shortlisted, and the top 10 were chosen through a combination of online voting and on-site judging. Ruiyang Chen received the award during the graduation ceremony, presented by SUSTech's Party Secretary Hong Jiang and President Qikun Xue.

Background and Academic Achievements​​
       Ruiyang Chen joined our research group in January 2023, focusing on integrated optical quantum control. He completed both his bachelor's and master's degrees at SUSTech. During his master's program, he distinguished himself as a dedicated researcher in quantum physics. His key achievements include publishing multiple high-impact papers, such as a first-author article in Physical Review Letters(which was recognized as one of the world's top 30 optical advancements in 2024) and another in Physical Review Applied. He also co-authored three additional papers and secured a national invention patent. Beyond research, Chen received several awards, including the National Scholarship and the Qingjin Award from the Chinese Laser Press (as the only master's student honored nationally in 2024).

 ​​Future Plans​​
       Ruiyang Chen will continue his academic journey by pursuing a Ph.D. at the University of Science and Technology of China, under the guidance of Researcher Junqiu Liu. He plans to maintain his research activities within our group, contributing to ongoing projects in photonics and quantum technology.
